In our last article we laid out a self governance model that combines one of Balaji's Network States (which this island sounds like it is one), along with new collective intelligence technologies called Human Swarm Intelligence, combined with a high trust digital society.
We want to re-explore the idea of a more direct democracy but instead of using archaic voting methods, we use swarming. We know there are problems in self governance - tyranny of the masses, groupthink, and echo chambers. But there are also problems using dangerous tools like nuclear energy, electricity, cars and flying, and we mostly conquered them.
We just think problems in groups are solvable problems.
Humans solve problems better in groups, period.
