🏘️ Community Updates
Highlights from Ipê City, partner communities, or aligned initiatives.
This week, the Ipê City community ran the first Pulse, our implementation of the POCA, a digital-native social protocol that helps communities coordinate and engage consistently.
A Pulse is a recurring community participation to execute a specific action - such as liking a post, signing something on-chain, or donating to a crowdfund - within a 24-hour window. It happens on fixed dates every month, for example, the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, creating an Index of engagement. Each Pulse also builds an on-chain history that enables rewards and long-term incentives.
Our first one was liking and sharing a Farcaster post announcing episode 2 of The Network Society documentary: 84.6% engagement from our 13 beta-tester members.
POCA is the community on-chain heartbeat and represents a new social primitive for the Internet era.

⚖️ Governance Tools
